You’re going to need accessories for your new rotary tool and I love Kutzall Burrs!
My favorite of theirs is the Fine Detail Kit.
If you want to add a few full-size burrs, I like the taper burrs, ball nose burrs, and the dovetail burrs just to name a few. Coarseness is a personal preference; I usually stick with the fine.
This is a great time to stock up on Starbond glue!
My absolute favorite, go-to for almost everything, is the “Gap-Filler” Thick.
I recommend adding the Accelerator Spray.

Let’s talk about paint markers!
The set I reach for the most is the Shuttle Art Automatic Ink Control set.
Honestly, part of the love is the nice case, but I do genuinely like the markers. My only complaint is that the red in this pack isn’t very red.
More recently, I’ve also been liking these Let’s Resin markers. They have a great color selection for the price — and they actually have good reds, which is hard to come by in paint marker sets.
Honorable mentions:
This Shuttle Art set is an inexpensive option with all the basics. The red in this one is good!
As you can tell, I’m a brush-tip girly when it comes to paint markers, but this Dual Tip set is great if you prefer a fine tip sometimes.
Lastly for Amazon is something I don’t talk about nearly enough… my chair!
I tracked this chair’s price for a while before finally grabbing it during Prime Days, and I love it. It’s super comfortable and looks great in my workshop. It’s on sale for Black Friday for even less than I paid.
