A layered laser cut file for creating a cute gingerbread house. Two sizes included!

About the File
This project was designed for laser cutting.
PNG and PDF files are included for the larger size only.
It can be made with a scroll saw or other tools, though it would not be considered a beginner project.
A helpful video is included showing a full file overview, assembly, tips, and how to attach the door and hinges.
A PDF guide with important information and the video link is also included.
Sizes & Fit
Two sizes included: approx. 6″x7″ and 7″x8″.
The roof has tabs for assembly—resizing will affect the fit of the roof, tabs, door, and hinges.
(Layers without tabs are also included if you choose not to use them.)
Designed for a 0.5″ hinge; hinge slots are easily adjustable.
This design works best with ¼” material with 1/8″ material for layered pieces
Creative Options
Designed for use with a flameless tealight candle.
Includes eight total layers plus the roof, door, windows, and optional accessories.
You can also use fairy lights, modify layers, and get creative with your own ideas.
A separate version for creating signs is also included.

Notes
Resizing affects all fitting components (roof, door, hinges, etc.)
Hinge notches are adjustable or optional
Designed for use with ¼″ Baltic birch — slots measure approximately 0.48″ wide, so thicker material may require small adjustments
- Four of the eight layers are partial pieces (not full house shapes), so total material use is less than it may appear.
For use with flameless tealights only — do not use real candles.
Please note: The included video covers important information for all Christmas house files. It is not a full tutorial and does not include shaping or painting steps. The video focuses on file details, assembly, using the test box, attaching the hinges and latch, and other helpful tips.
USER POLICY
The file is available for YOU to create a FINISHED product of up to 100 items. The reselling of this file is not permitted. You CAN sell the finished pieces you make, please do not share my file. DIY art kits, branding and mass production of over 100 items are NOT permitted with purchase.
After 100 uses you must re-purchase the file. Do not alter my file for the use of re-selling.
In the event you wish to use a file drawn and designed by me for a paint kit, or paint night, I can be contacted to discuss the additional licensing fee. Paint kits and paint parties are not considered to be selling a completed product and do violate the above terms and conditions of the purchase.
The files are permitted for fellow small businesses to use and create their own products. For inquiries about mass production or large scale use, please contact me.
